The Invictus Games Vancouver/Whistler is working hard on their PR to sell tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies, and Harold was drafted to appear at the Grey Cup on 17 November 2024, without TW. She would never miss a freebie trip and a chance to get some free PR photos, so perhaps IG said they wouldn’t pay for her after the huge backlash back in November 2023, when the CEO and CCO of Invictus Games Canada left abruptly a couple of days prior to the duo arriving in Vancouver for a surprise PR tour?

Several of my Canadian readers who watched the game said that Harold’s appearance wasn’t even mentioned or shown on television, and the social media posts suggest that he was a commentator. However, the truth is that he was interviewed for a couple of minutes and that was it after the photo op of a jersey swap

I was surprised that Invictus Games wasn’t able to round up any veterans for Harold to pose with (bar Wen Nie who was with him at the Grey Cup). Were non available, or perhaps they just didn’t want to be exploited for PR?

They really are pushing the ticket sales with a link to buy tickets on each social media post. Most tickets are around $89 per person with partner discounts available, and it looks as if they are giving them away as children at the launch of the online school program were given 2 free tickets to the opening ceremony.

However, is the money actually supporting wounded veterans or will it be to pay the expenses of the patron and his wife, and the numerous performers and celebrity appearances? No one shows up for free these days, and how much did Harold’s mini PR tour cost Invictus Games Vancouver this time?
