Can anyone explain the July dates referred to. From the court papers above it says the hearing is by 6th July 2022 not 2021??

By that date as there is a backlog. Appeals can take years.

Thanks for keeping track on this and explaining it so well. Even TQ has had to acknowledge that the Sussex Team are liars and it's time the judicial system did too.

Thanks, I have been waiting to ascertain the decision. To have the process explained in such detail is wonderful I do not know of anyone else who would have been able to decipher and explain the information in such a comprehensive way.

As this is a high profile case, closely followed by those who dispute the original SJ result, could the appeal judges follow the same lead as the original judge? Opening a can of worms, putting the Judge in question and BP in an embarrassing situation if they allegedly did interfere with the verdict? I'm not confident of the judicial system in the UK after the SJ verdict. Fingers crossed for a fair uncompromising verdict this time. Its a great start but let's not underestimate TW and her truths and manipulation of the system! 🤞

The Court of Appeal routinely overturns first instance judgements if the judge erred in law, made a decision no reasonable judge would have made and was plainly wrong. The C of A is certainly not afraid to differ from trial judges when the law requires it. My hopes are very high. This has become too high profile, contentious and has stirred up public opinion too much for the C of A to tamely brush it under the carpet IMHO. I hope the C of A will also take a more robust approach to permitting BP's employees to decide what they will or not cover in statements of evidence. That is not good enough. They must be ordered to state all they know on all relevant issues.

Thanks for this HM. We would probably be none the wiser if you didn’t wade through all the details and keep us updated. I have been a little bit despondent lately, as however outrageous their behaviour, they appear to get away with it. I really wish neither of them any ill will but I would like to see them curtailed in their determination to cause others maximum pain whilst preaching kindness and compassion. I really hope that the royals take the opportunity to speak up this time. I can understand them not wanting their dirty laundry aired in public but this time, it’s her dirty laundry that will be on show. It’s very obvious that both of them think that they can say and do whatever they like without their words and deeds being called into account. Their spokesman, Omid Scobie, who is as bad as his puppet master, has been spreading more vindictive accusations against the royal family and he too must be questioned in court about his collaboration with TW and her husband over the Funding Fibs book. They have already proven that they are willing to lie to make themselves the victims and it will be interesting if TW attempts to try this in a court of law, whilst swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth and not her truth.

Well said, this HM article has made me less despondent too, let's hope it's true that the gloves are off with BRF. They did not want their name dragged through the mud the first time and let her get away with breaking the law. Unfortunately they have to take it on the chin because it's all going to be embarrassing for BRF for a long time.

I read that TW is prepared to challenge the Queen and BP regarding the bullying accusations. Apparently she wants full details of the accusations. Have you got any information on that?

TriciaH2K's avatar

Just because she wants them does not mean she will get them nor that she is entitled to them. She will see them when the report comes out!

TW simply showing the world she really is a bully and the allegations are probably spot on. I think she may be losing it--a sane person would know when to ST*U.

This is actually old news, along with some other things that have come out in the last few days. She demanded this information from PC’s office when the bullying allegations first arose.

She has to wait until the enquiry is completed . Nothing is going to be released until the investigation is finished . Her lawyers cannot demand anything at all , they may have squeaky bums though .

She is not entitled to the details as it’s an HR matter for employees who feel that they have been treated unfairly. It is being handled by an outside source so that the palace cannot be accused of any bias. I read recently that it has been put on hold until next year. No reason was given for the delay.

Wonderful news. Thank you, HM, for updating all of us so quickly. So many things that might finally be set to rights, and confidence in the judicial system and BP restored. As an American, it has been interesting and very educational to see the differences in our court systems. I suspect the duplicitous duo I probably not too happy about now….
