The truth can be covered up, but it will always exist, yet the damage that lies can do can have far reaching consequences. That is why uncomfortable truths should be addressed, and establishments that seek to hide truths will get found out, and the consequences of their actions will have harmed many in the process.
Shouldn’t lessons be learned from this when people make inaccurate statements and false representations in interviews for their own gain? Yes, the BBC let Diana down, but has CBS, ITV, and all the other channels that aired ‘that interview’ let The Queen, the UK, and the other members of the British Royal Family down?

That is why I believe we, the People have a right to the truth when fake news is being passed off as convenient narratives and manipulated truths. We should never be afraid of asking for the truth when things appear questionable, nor should we be silenced through fear.
Remember, a whistleblower came forward and that’s how the truth came to be told after he was silenced, and threatened.
