The ceremony at Windsor Castle was as he wanted it, and the modified Land Rover was a most excellent touch. His children did him proud, as they said farewell to their father. While the day was about paying tribute to him, the media could not help but add some speculation over other matters to do with the Sussexes. They could have stopped discussing them for a day, as this was always more than a family feud because the People got dragged into it. When will they realize that the public aren’t interested in their over embellished snowflake statements and attempts to solicit sympathy? They are irrelevant, and the public at large hold little to no affection for Harry, and less for his current wife.

Today one of the papers shared a story that I had not heard of, and that was Prince Philip inviting the press to his stag party that they had tried to gatecrash. He turned the tables on them and took photos of them that night, which goes to show that there is an unspoken understanding between the press and the RF, and that he had a wicked sense of humour. Somehow, you can’t see Harry doing that sort of thing, and that’s perhaps why no one has much respect for him for he has never earned any.

Adieu, Sea Dog – your watch is now over as you leave us adrift
As the Patriarch of a Nation, your reassuring and steadfast presence is already missed
You were a son, grandson, brother, nephew, sailor, officer, a gentleman, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, a friend, and a defender of the nation rolled into one
For many generations, you are all that they have known – it's hard to believe you have now gone
As much as we'd have liked you to stay longer, we knew you were weary and tired
It's time to rest – your job is done, you can put your feet up and retire
Many will miss your wise counsel, and the strength and determination you inspired
Thank you isn't enough for all you did, Sire
When there was danger, you faced it without fear, for you did battle for your country and King
Yet, you were a man of the People, as you stood side by side by all, and the National Anthem you did sing
Strong and resolute, you suffered no fools
Duty above else was your mantra, those were your rules
You leave behind legacies with your modest aplomb, but who will get your energy efficient black cab?
The world will miss your charming smile and quips, for you had the gift of the gab
No one can ever take your place – one you carved out through devoted loyalty and respect
You planned your own funeral with the modified Land Rover, and your wishes will be carried out as you would expect
Only in death do the masses truly appreciate all that you have done and achieved
Even the critics are humbled, and join with us and grieve
You set the standard high – a life of duty, service fulfilled with honour and integrity to a Nation
The Monarchy we have today is a product of your devotion and creation
Rest, and be reunited with your loved ones, but do watch over us now and then
Even in Spirit, the world needs to be watched over by decent and good men
United we stand in our gratitude for your dedication to the Nation
The Navy was your career, yet to fortify the Monarchy and support Elizabeth II was your true vocation
Your spirit and strength lives on in all the charities and associations you built
We have all your old images to look at, especially those of you in a kilt
Like a lighthouse beacon, you guided us through rough seas and provided an aura of safety and calm
We must now use that strength you inspired to keep us from harm
The world is filled with good and bad people – we were fortunate you were one of the good guys
Integrity, respect, loyalty, and a sense of duty are things one cannot buy
As a Nation, we will help support your family to protect your wife from any who wish to do her ill
You may be gone in body, but your Spirit surrounds us eternally, and always will.

I doubt that the Queen is going to wait until the unveiling of the Diana statute, to make a ruling on the status of her grandson and his wife. Let her catch her breath after the devastating loss of her husband. Several events have prevented her from acting sooner, so perhaps her later response will bee more devastating than anyone imagined. The disrespect that H and his wife has shown her is shameful, to say the least, and the blatant way they have abused their titles has been beyond compare, plus all of the lies they have uttered, which a number of them have been proven to be untrue, have demonstrated their lack of integrity with respect to how they conduct themselves as a credible couple.
