The Harkles ~ No Pay, No Play!
The Harkles opt not to collect an award it seems, unless they are paid full expenses to attend...
It must have been a busy hair washing night in Montecito, where both Harry and TW were too busy to attend a fundraising event where they were given an award. Human First Coalition thought they had struck the jackpot with a ‘generous donation’ from the Sussexes, but they didn’t realise a quid pro quo was attached to it. The small organisation dutifully gave the Sussexes an award, for well, donating money (a cash for honours), and thought that was enough to get them to collect it in person for some charitable PR.
Of course it wasn’t—the donation was supposed to pay for their expenses to show up for some PR for themselves, and the organisation gets some free publicity. That’s the game after all, but you do get the odd celebrity who will pay their own way and donate their time freely without any catches. The Sussexes don’t appear to be in this category. Charity and fundraising is a business after all, and that’s how they make money!
Yes, personalities that attend award ceremonies or to promote a charity or organisation get full travel expenses and hotel accommodation as standard. Usually an upper limit is silently agreed between the organisers, and there are the ethical ones who decline the offer and state they will make their own arrangements and pay for the costs themselves.
The ‘Experience Afghanistan’ event appeared to have been successful without an appearance from the duo, and it was a small scale event with an evening buffet. Imagine the horror of TW being told to queue for her meal! They packed off a traitorous lackey in their place to accept the award, and probably gave Holt enough for a Comfort Inn for the night. It came as no surprise that since the Sussexes announced they would not show up for the award that their PR didn’t bother to promote the charity, or incentivise the cult to post and promote it either. Anyone who thinks the duo are pushing their humanitarian efforts for philanthropic reasons are misguided, for this is a career and a business.
You can tell when a PR company has approached fans and the cult, for they all comment on specific posts within a specific timeframe. It isn’t organic as much as they try to make it look that way, and you can see clearly that other posts on the same accounts had little to no interactions which indicate manipulation. I know this because that is what people in marketing and PR do, but as long as the client is happy, no one cares!
The ‘announcement’ of the mini-European tour of the few private patronages that the duo still hold by their unofficial spokesperson (who claims he isn’t, but he is) was made yesterday, probably to distract from the fact they were not bothering to show up for ‘Experience Afghanistan’. Why would they miss a freebie trip to New York, unless they had to pay themselves? No private jet, or First Class tickets at a push, and no suite in a 5 star hotel either. Besides that, the unofficial mouthpiece (UM) had laid out the itinerary before WellChild and the Invictus Games had even made their announcements.
As expected, TW will show up at One Young World in Manchester on 5 September 2022, then the duo will attend the Invictus Games launch in Dusseldorf the next day, and back to the UK for the WellChild awards on the 8 September. TW should remember the Invictus launch in Toronto 2016, because that’s where she met Harry, as witnessed by others and that she admitted to in an interview in Vanity Fair (that was amended later once it was realised the narrative looked bad as a two-timing girlfriend).
Looks like the organisations are happy to use donated funds and grants to pay for the Sussex PR, but does Harry need to go to Manchester as I doubt he really wants to? He could fly directly to Germany, and does TW need to go to Germany or even show up at WellChild either? I imagine they won’t want to stay overnight in Manchester, and will fly as quickly as possible to Germany.
The One Young World conference was changed from Tokyo, Japan to erm, Manchester, UK to make it more accessible (affordable) for the attendees, where tickets for 3 days cost between £3-4k, plus your own travel costs. There are ‘scholarships’ which are funded by companies, also called sponsorship, but I imagine it was a lot cheaper to pay for Manchester than Japan and encouraged more scholarships. Conferences are big businesses, and they make huge profits from this, and that is more than likely why the location was switched as in this day and age, who has £4k to spare for a 3 day networking event when energy bills are going up each month? Fewer bums on seats means it is less profitable.
Has One Young World forgotten the time when TW showed up for the perks of the Ottawa conference in 2016, then ditched the event without performing her agreed speech as she was too busy planning to keep a leash on Harry? Apparently she told her agent Gina to ‘deal with it’, and that is hardly the kind of role model that the young should be inspired by. A few weeks later, TW also allegedly ditched Gina and Kruger Cowne.
WellChild is the event Harry attended last year in the private area of Kew Gardens, where he claimed he was ‘in danger’ due to inadequate security, yet he arrived and left unscathed because no one even knew about the event until the Sussex PR told the media. This is also the event where Harry was apparently rude to the mother of one of the award winners at the event—a claim that the charity has never refuted. This event is also the basis of a legal challenge that Harry has made against Her Majesty’s Government, claiming that they did not assess his security adequately in this instance.
These events are footage for Netflix of course for what seems to be a futile project. People are only going to be interested in seeing how bad it is, and there have been alleged legal challenges made against them in the US for alleged breach of contract. As to whether it is Netflix or Spotify (or both) who knows, but the legal team representing the Montecito Misfits seem to have done enough to halt further action.
That brings up the issue of the security arrangements when the duo are in the UK, and these are private patronages that do not warrant protective detail, unless there is a credible reason as to why it should be provided. Would the duo be stupid enough o stage an incident (such as breaking into their own house several times) to warrant security for the sake of it? That also means that RAVEC and associated bodies would need full details of their itineraries to make a proper assessment, and as we know they are so secretive, if they fail to do so and expect the bodies to make an assessment, then that is their own fault.
Sometimes, pieces fall together and people wondered why TW and Harry were in Jackson Hole in Wyoming for 4 July. It so happens that a former US Vice President lives there, and that TW may have met with him and his family for a ‘meeting’. It might explain why there is an Archewell LLC recently registered in Wyoming, which would be necessary if one wished to donate to a political candidate in a particular state. One should consider whether it is appropriate for charitable funds that were donated to help charitable causes are redistributed and used for political donations. Can it be considered ‘political interference’, if a member of the British Royal Family who publicly use their titles for attention, donate funds to a political party or to a political candidate in the USA?
Today is the midterm primary in Wyoming, just saying…
