The Black Sheep Returns
Harry will return for the funeral of Prince Philip, but the welcome will not be warm
The UK and Commonwealth joins Her Majesty, and her family in a period of national mourning, as we pay tribute to HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh who died on 9 April, 2021. People are ignoring the requests not to bring flowers or to visit Windsor, due to Covid-19 restrictions, however, people wish to pay their respects. An act of placing flowers is what some need to do, as a nation has lost someone who has been a mainstay all of their lives. Tributes have arrived from all corners of the world, and we are reminded of his great contributions during his lifetime, and what we have lost.

The People hope that the media ignores Harry should he decide to be at the funeral. It is dependent on his Covid-19 test results, and remember that that this is about The Queen, and Prince Philip’s wishes, and not about Harry. He is but one grandchild.
Let us hope the Sussexes have some dignity in this matter, and that they refrain from their usual PR attacks. If Harry had any respect or dignity for his grandparents, he would have put duty first. He chose not to, and opted for a self-righteous path, where he attacked his family, and his country for his own selfish gains. Those can be construed as acts of a traitor, where he shows no sign of remorse or humility. The nation will tolerate his presence for the funeral, but that doesn’t mean that they have forgotten what damage he has caused.

I have decided to close this particular thread until Friday when a new discussion thread will open. People may still sign the petition or express their condolences on the appropriate threads.
Seeing the photos of PP brings home he really was a handsome chap. The stories given by "ordinary" folk portray a man who was very much down-to-earth and had a wonderful sense of humour. His talents were numerous- he knew how to appreciate and enrich his life and enrich the lives around him.
