Sorry to make another comment but the first whizzed off before I could add a little thought I had with regards to HRH status. I was interested to note that because of an administrative error Diana's wedding dress display acknowledgement was corrected to remove Harry's HRH status because the status is not to be currently used. So why does TW continue to use hers in Court?

Expand full comment

I already asked this and HM says it’s because she had use of the HRH at the time the case started

Thank you for keeping us all up to date with this.

All the evidence needs to be heard, regardless of the eventual outcome. This is one of the cornerstones of our legal system. It also needs to be exposed as to how deceitful TW is. People need to open their eyes to the fact that the victim status, is a load of gonads.

Great analysis and correlation with the timing of events and the OW interview. Thank you for keeping on this and being fair and impartial with your synopsis of events and for going over this rather dry judicial stuff that would make my eyes cross.

I guess Harry is now 'free' to have that DNA test to see if Charles if actually his father or someone else. That might take care of the HRH style issue. And a whole lot of others.

I'm looking forward to The Truth being told about TW on both a legal front and general media. The money to pay very expensive legal teams for her will run out at some point.

It isn’t enough to keep thanking you for all your hard work. You have my continued support. I hope you are enjoying sunshine and warm weather (not so in my corner of Wales). I feel that Warby made a great error in his judgement. He didn’t see the bigger picture. The appeal must be upheld. It is vital for the People who rely upon the law for fair and equal judgement.

A very clear summation and I hadn't thought of the connection between the successful Summary Judgement and moving forward with the OW interview. Of course, one you mention it, HM, it is clear that without that Judgement, TW and H probably would not have gone forward with the interview - it would have been far too risky in terms of later challenges to TW's credibility. How different things might have turned out in the absence of that interview!

As they say, hindsight is always 20/20, but I must wonder if things had not gone as they did, TW and H might not have been so badly exposed as they are now. Dreadful as the interview(s) was/were, they served to make large swaths of the public aware of how vicious the intent of the duo are, especially emerging within the context of the Duke of Edinburgh's death. It is possible that the interview(s) and their timing, led to the Queen losing patience at last and branding the couple as the liars they are over the name they chose for their daughter.

Wonky as the Summary Judgement appeared to us, the silver lining to that cloud may have been that it engendered over-confidence in TW and H, they overreached, and ended brutally discredited.

So I am viewing the Summary Judgement, as unhappy as I was when it was announced, through the lens of Unintended Consequences.

Best possible outcome: ANL are granted leave to appeal, and the package of retribution is a larger one than we could have imagined: an appeal, a trial, AND an Out of Patience Queen putting the boot in. I will hope for that.

As it was said, "Oh, what tangled webs we weave/When first we practice to deceive!"

Many, many thanks to Harry Markle for pointing out the striking connection between the Summary Judgement and the interview going forward at what surely turned out to be such a bad time for the duo to do it.

I do hope Mr Justice Warby has noted it, as well.

Cheers, all. TC

It seems that HMTQ has truly lost patience with the duo, at long last, and if there had been shenanigans regarding the SJ (as in tipping-the-scales type) it is certainly unlikely now that BP would do anything to squelch any ensuing scandal. They are possibly at the "let the chips fall where they may" stage, and if a little dirt gets blown onto the RF, well, it won't be the first time, and at least they would have the backing of the Nation this time (in fact if they intervene on TW's behalf, they will lose a lot of what they gained in the Lilibet business).

An appeal allows both sides to present their cases fairly and in the public domain, and that's how it should be. There are more witnesses with varying recollections of the events, and they need to be heard.

People want to know what Sara Latham has to say under oath about the comments made that she assisted with 'that book', because the source wouldn't come out with that statement randomly...

Everything about this case is shrouded in mystery. I'm sure they think that the British public have forgotten, and in many ways we have. So thanks HM for your perseverance in pursuing it.

Many thanks Harry. Let's hope that BP has finally realised that 'never complain, never expla in '

will not wash with these two. I hope that with recent events ( HM telling courtiers to refute any comments that are untrue), the gloves are finally off. The unhinged one was allowed an enormous amount of latitude from the judge, who, I think , must now realise that he was ' done up like a kipper'

Many thanks for all your persistance. Keep going!

Penelope Anne Davies I always thought the Judge was far to quick in his decision, one week it appeared to be going in a positive direction (For us anyway) then he appeared to do an about turn. Way far too interested in getting it out of the way before he moved on . However it is not going to go away as he may have hoped. It will go down in the books with his name very prominently featured and not in a good way.

Thank you HM + well done for all the hard work. I'm hoping BP won't be reticent in the future now in telling the truth + justice will be done at last

ANL appear to have been stitched up. Perhaps BP intervened on the Markles' behalf on the understanding that they stop suing the media. This the Markles have not done, presumably in order to maximise the pay-out. The longer they let the case continue, the more likely it is that information becomes available that undermines their position. I would not want to have the Mail for an enemy.

The British press are mostly sitting on the fence, apart from the Mirror and Express who appear to be in their pay. The winners for me are the Daily Star who make fun of the desperate duo. The joke is that publications who still print Marilyn and Elvis absurdity (reincarnated in a cauliflower) the Markle’s can’t touch!

Common tactic in the US for one side to delay giving documents. Often it is the side that initiated the lawsuit when it doesn't go as planned. Happened to us. Also see Mark Steyn vs Michael Mann - this lawsuit has been going on for the better part of a decade due to the delay of documents. The UK and Canadian courts usually don't allow this to happen they are more efficient. TW likely learned it from her US lawyers.

Thanks you very much Harry Markle. As our US judicial system is based on yours it is vital that fairness be seen to be done. The symbol of justice is a masked figure holding the scales of justice to visually suggest fairness. This entire situation must be a nightmare for the Queen and previously Prince Philip. It is painful to see photos of them with their grandson. As a grandparent myself I can see the love and bond they had. So on a smaller personal scale the pain the California couple are causing to both families AND YOUR COUNTRY is a tragedy on many levels. If you then add in the staff who have dedicated their lives to your country and culture the pain is of epic proportions. Here in the US I now get ACORN TV AND BRITBOX. What I watch is some of the programs that illustrate the lives of ‘ordinary’ people in the U.K. These are the true keepers of your heritage. Harry Markle you have my deepest respect for how you are trying to save your country’s values and standing in the world.

The RF has not taken a stand and seem to have been rendered impotent by TW. The inconsistencies and lies must be challenged by the legal system. Money, titles, privileges must go to maintain the integrity of the legal system and the RF.

Expand full comment

HarryMarkle, how long (objectively) do you think this indecisiveness by the court can go on, i.e. how long can or will they (the Court/the Judge) allow the duo to stall the case/any response to ANL's request for documents? Surely this can't last forever. The Palace has to see results (i.e. public attacks/sussexes PR slander) what their mild attitude towards the duo has yielded: it's only hurt the Queen, and the senior royals, while the duo is trying to cement their presence in Hollywood/US. You can't kill 2 birds with 1 stone, so they have to decide: do they save the Queen's legacy/reputation of BP aides (whose job is to protect the Queen) or do they allow the duo to continue throw the mud at the Queen and the family for as long as they choose? I've read some reports where allegedly TW is planning to come for Diana's statue unveiling. I surely hope it's just that : allegations/reports, and not the truth. Also someone wrote that the situation between the duo and the RF/BP will get much worse, before it gets better. I wonder, how much worse? I mean, hasn't Harry attacked his own family enough? Hasn't he burnt too many bridges as it is?

Expand full comment

@Kitty...H has indeed attacked enough for us here ( surpassed our limit over a year ago!), but he is an emotional reaction to machinations of TW...none of what is going on now, is without her input. While regrettable that the RF put their concerns too, above citizens and justice, does not ensure her victory...the RF must certainly see public tide now, on their side. Their attention to optics, seems to override their sense of sound and speech...the crowds are roaring disapproval, and their hearing and mutable actions, are seen as intolerable now. Attorneys may be adept in delaying justice with strategic stalling, but perhaps, a triumphant end will be made more emphatic, seen in the clarity of days ahead, without resistant forces which are deceiptful, having their way.

Expand full comment

Public perception is important. The process cannot drag on indefinitely because the people rightly see that beyond a certain point, justice delayed, is justice denied.

I genuinely believe that Ms Markle is untouchable, the British legal system makes special rules just for her, she lies and lies and lies and yet she is always seen as a wonderful woman who is a victim, I am frustrated, let down and disillusioned not only by the British legal system but also by the British RF, we no longer have a legal system that we can be proud of or a monarchy that we can be proud of all because of one woman of suspect character who is ruling Britain all because the RF are scared of being called racist. I am worn down by it all

Expand full comment

She's not untouchable but she has the best lawyers in this type of case and the law is such that there are always loopholes to be used and exploited to the max. Very clever people and paid accordingly .

Expand full comment

Actually she does not have the best lawyers. Warby himself scolded Schillings for their poor law student level pleadings in some documents. It makes his Summary Judgement even more inexplicable!

Expand full comment

@Mp...Worn down, but supported by those here, and more who think alone, not knowing of our " preserve, " here...TW might have once, roared as a lion, but she is frayed now, and licking paws that no longer support her rapid abuses. It is frustrating to be sure, seismic shifts create instability in both political and societal shifts...Great Britain is the "canary in the mine," the "bellwether" for the rest of those countries who see the harm H and his handler inflict daily...Perhaps TW was a necessary infliction upon history, to remind all, what truly, is dear. The end is near.

Thank you Harry Markle for your diligence and perseverance. You are a shining example of the truism that eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. Thank you. Given the monarchy’s inadequate response to the court, the indifferent response by its employee at the time of the events, the continued sussexs HRH against the wishes of the people, I see the monarchy as having undermined the Court. What is more that is the perception and a dangerous unsettling one. International observers noted the surprising actions of the court and judge in the Assange trial and the whole legal actions to him. It’s not looking good. So many years of lawyers, clerks, barristers, judges and support staff have worked so long. Life long for most to have this broken on a whim of the present monarchy is appalling.

I appreciate the content of your article, it helps understand the legal procedure. I do agree that the defendant appears to have the right to an appeal, and the BRF need to support the British Legal System. If this is dismissed, then I see a future of legal ramifications for British justice as this case will be used by guilty parties to get free from their illegal activities.
