How To Steal From The Queen...
Plugging a book, using faux friends, and announcing a birth on D-Day
I’m sure many people are tired of this saga, and I have given the duo the attention they deserve which is none, and will stick to a weekly overview with a report on the public reaction. What happened this week (in more depth on WP in a few days, the sun is out and I want to enjoy it) then?
We knew that the book, ‘The Bench’ would be published (8 June), but actually no one seemed to care very much for it with some dreadful reviews. This was advertised in part by a ‘friend’ (who didn’t appear to be invited to the wedding) who posted an image of a preview copy on social media. How many other advance copies were sent out, but others were either too scared to share it, or didn’t want to be associated with it and stayed silent? However, it seemed they had a PR trick up their sleeve for free publicity a few days beforehand…
The Office of the … doesn’t that mean that they are using the titles as a business when they have stepped back from using their formal titles in a public capacity? Isn’t that a clear sign that they are using the titles in a commerical capacity, and thus isn’t permitted under protocol?
The ‘will he or won’t he’ come for the unveiling of the Diana statue continued.
Their unofficial spokesman (Scobie) continued to stir up the rabid cult with intentional misinformation (the Wessex interview), quoting Sophie out of context, and aided by an ambitious Camilla Tominey (Daily Telegraph) who knew exactly what she was doing by bringing up the topic of OW that was unnecessary. It was also her radio debut on LBC recently, perhaps she needed the publicity too at the expense of Sophie? Sophie replied to CT that Welby didn’t know who OW was as it would not be unusual if you didn’t watch chat shows. Her quote was taken out of context to make it appear as if Sophie didn’t know who OW was, and it was in a deliberate attempt to ‘attack’ a member of the RF. Why is he still allowed to be included in the Royal Rota? This tirade of attacking others via the cult continued when Julie Burchill’s tweets (often cutting and sarcastic) were attacked as ‘racist’ which resulted in her departure from the DT. Before you judge her tweets, perhaps one should read the posts of the attackers and their pseudo puppet master as they are far worse?
The Sussex PR leaked (5 June) the ‘expected date’ of a child arriving on Prince Philip’s birthday (10 June), but the wise know to ignore such tales. The ‘child’ had actually been born already as per usual, and a domain registered before the birth on 4 June 2021. This is in keeping with the child known as Archie, where he was already ‘born’ well before the official announcement. This appeared to deflect from stories that Harry’s HRH was removed from a display of Diana’s wedding dress, and that that the Sussexes appeared lower down on the RF website. What happened to the ruthless paps in the US? Didn’t any of them spot them leaving the ostentatious mansion, or perhaps they knew no one would buy the photos and didn’t bother, or as claimed, most Americans simply don’t care or aren’t interested?
D-Day (6 June), a most important day in history for those who value their freedoms and liberties was the day chosen for the Sussexes to announce the ‘birth’ of Lilibet to be known as Lili (so just call her Lili then) Diana. They could have chosen any other day, but how did Harry’s beloved veterans view that disrespectful act when the day was dedicated to the fallen soldiers? They could have chosen the day before or after, but it seems that Harry and TW failed to remember when D-Day was or what it is. Both seemed to have failed their history exams, but publicity for the book generates more money…
It took 3 hours for BP to decide how to post social media congratulations, and the nation was divided on how these messages appeared, and what underlying message it sent. The name Lilibet is a private family nickname for The Queen, and in polite society, it is good manners to seek permission from elder family members to use family and ancestral names, and is very different from ‘mentioning it’ or ‘informing’ someone of their intention (just as they informed The Queen of them leaving the RF via a website they had secretly been planning and launched without notice). Just as Victoria requested that there never be a King Albert, family members have respected her wishes (and will carry on if there is a Monarchy left after this) and the name has been used as middle names. George VI was named Albert, but was not expected to be King, and took the name George out of respect for his great-grandmother’s wishes and as a hommage to his father. Many have seen this as a low act, by stealing what is private and sacred to the Queen, and where one (who is decent in character, and of a good upbringing) would not have the effrontery to make such a request that would be considered impudent and an insult. It also appears to be an attempt to ‘cash in’ on both names by retaining ties to those with titles – titles from an institution both profess to hate, but are happy to use and abuse for their own financial and personal gain.
The nation remains unsettled by the lack of action from BP, and carrying on and ignoring the duo simply isn’t working. With continued attacks and disrespect being hurled at the Nation and the Monarchy, the People wish to see action to protect both, yet we see a passiveness that is like cowering under a table. That is not acceptable when a Nation is being attacked from within, and BP fails to acknowledge what is before them as they allow the Sussexes to destroy the very fabric of the Nation.
More drama as the duo accuse the BBC of libel over the story that permission was not sought for the use of Lilibet…seriously, anyone would be more interested in the newborn than fighting over a name that many believe was inappropriate. They could have used any other name, but they wanted one that generated the most publicity (revenue) it seems. What was wrong with the name Harriet after Harry?
I'm quite perplexed at the number of people (mainly harkle supporters, but others too) that keep saying they didn't need permission to use a nickname, and that they can call the child what they want.
This is called manners, and obviously there is a huge sector of society that seem to lack them. You ask permission as a courtesy and a gesture. Yes, a parent can call their child what they want, but if they choose to name it after someone who is living, it is considered good manners to ask first - not mention or inform, but to ask. This was more than a name, it was a family nickname, and as many have said, if the child is to be known as Lili, then they should have simply given her that name. They still can I guess, and in the US they can change their names whenever they want.

Today’s statement issued on behalf of the Sussexes said the duke had called the Queen before their daughter’s birth
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex insisted today that they had asked the Queen for permission to use her childhood nickname Lilibet for their baby daughter.
The couple issued legal warnings following a report by the BBC that the monarch had not been consulted about the use of the name.
Jonny Dymond, the corporation’s royal correspondent, quoted a Palace source saying the Queen was “never asked” her opinion on the couple’s decision to name their second child after her.
Lawyers for Harry and Meghan sent letters to the media today stating: “The article is false and defamatory...

Surely the parents of a newborn are too busy and focused on other matters to care about this, as in to issue legal letters within hours? In the real world, new parents wouldn't care about this, so why does it matter to them. Don't they have children to feed and to change nappies?
Whatever is the truth, they (BP, and the duo) cannot change how people feel or think about this, and the optics of millions does actually matter.
