Apple Cashes In On Mental Health Awareness Week
The Auntie O and Harry show continues, and does anyone care about Travalyst?
The follow up to ‘The You Can’t See’ features Auntie O and sidekick Harry on a ‘town hall’ style show (The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward), where Apple are getting as much as they can out of the publicity. Most people signed up for the free trial to watch the show, and they are keeping their fingers crossed that people will forget to cancel.
I wonder how much of the profits that all the parties (Harpo and Archewell) have made will be donated to mental health charities – it would be a gesture on the part of Apple to donate all subscription fees for the month to charity, and that would have been good publicity.
While Harry seems oblivious to the fallout over his spiteful and hostile comments made during his segments in the show, there is a small amount of pity for him, but do not confuse that with support.
Meanwhile, there will always be speculation over how the funds in Travalyst and Archewell are used, and the recent Charity Commission report stated that the documentation of the MWX Foundation appeared to be less than adequate. That doesn’t say much the half a dozen highly experienced Directors on the board does it?
The weather has picked up in the UK, so I guess most people will be out enjoying the sun while they can, and won’t be tuning in…
I live in California and after JCMH's attack on the first amendment, believe me, no one pities him here. My friends and I love your RF and would never insult your laws and/or government policies. As my dear friend said, he just can't read a room, nor has he any filter. I know of no one who has watched the Auntie O and Harry show; to be honest I've not heard it mentioned much and it's received very little press over here. (We've been tired of Oprah for awhile now). For the RF's sake I hope that tomorrow's show isn't another whine fest featuring JCMH. (And, he needs to stop with all the hand gestures and flailing, already). On a bright note, how wonderful to see PW and the D of C stepping out of PP's green Land Rover in Scotland. They give me hope. JCMH and TW, we beg of you, please save what little dignity you have left ( if you ever had any to start with) and leave us all in peace. And thank you Harry Markle for your insight, and clear and concise thoughts. Every article is a pleasure.
