Comment and feedback on the petition to rescind the dukedom of Sussex
The petition addressed to Her Majesty the Queen is not yet 48 hours old, and I have tweaked things to make it as easy as possible for people to sign, and to comment. One must look at the qualitative aspect of this petition, and the comments reflect the views and feelings of all those around the world. In particular, those who reside in Commonwealth countries who have felt they had been ignored and disrespected (by having the Sussexes represent them), and the military community who are airing their dismay after remaining silent for the last couple of years. So many communities have been affected, and their pride has been stolen by the Sussexes, but can it be saved or restored?

These people are not bullies, racists, or trolls with time on their hands, but have been loyal servants of the Crown, and who have supported the Monarchy all their lives. You read of those who have proudly served (and their families) and protected the Crown, who now feel let down by the Monarch. Nothing is edited – these are real comments on how people around the world view the Sussexes and the state of the Monarchy.
I knew some people would struggle to keep to 3 sentences as a comment, and so I have left them in, and deleted the few that used bad language, or discussed/insulted other members of the Royal Family. Please use this post/thread to air your views and frustrations, and to share them with others. As usual, I request that you refrain from swearing, name calling, political or racist remarks, and do not insult other public figures.
This petition will be forwarded to the the Royal Households in due course.
Her Majesty the Queen is the Defender of the Faith, and this period of her life will test that mantle of which she holds:
I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong.

Here, we offer Your Majesty our support. Please accept it with grace, and we await your action in the interests of the greater good. We have faith in you, and that you will not let us down.

I have updated the petition with the requests that have been completed as DONE. This was the freebie, now comes the real stuff.
I think I speak for many people here, but we are tired of the Sussex show, and tired of The Queen pretending all is fine and playing nice. The charade is harming the nation, and we have had enough. While I don't support a Republic, I understand why people are turning their backs on the Monarchy, and who can blame them? If you have a Monarch who ignores you, and has no respect for you then why should they be entitled to any respect or loyalty? Of course it saddens me to have to write this, but it's true.
BP should realize that this is a very real and dire situation, and the constant appeasing of the Sussexes is simply making the situation worse. The loathing has turned to anger, and that anger is slowing turning into hate. No one wants to hate the Monarchy, but BP, you are doing a really poor job of keeping the Monarchy safe and sound.
With the recent staged news of an alleged pregnancy (you never know with the Sussexes if anything is real), it confirms the control over the Court case, and why they sought a summary judgment, knowing that circumstances would be in their favour. Did it influence the proceedings? The legal team seemed sure of the outcome before the arguments were presented, and MM's was relatively weak and riddled with issues.
One thing is for sure, and that is the public is tired of their faux need for privacy while flouting their speeches and images of what their ideal life is for the world to see. This is their image, and this is what they wish people to believe as MM governs by appearances, and thrives on attention, but positive press only. No one cares, no one believes it is true, yet the Sussexes believe that they are relevant.
What more can be said by those who once looked up and trusted Elizabeth II? She has failed those around her, and the question I must ask myself is whether she is worth fighting for if she can't be bothered to act, or is unable to accept that she and the men and grey have made a grave error in expecting the People to accept what she has done or not done?
When the People of the nation turn their backs on you, when you have lost respect, lost any loyalty, then you have lost your Crown. The question I ask the People now is whether the Monarchy deserves our support? The mood of the People right now is negative, and it's getting worse. Will BP act before it's too late, although some say it's already too late? I want to support the Monarchy, but they need to give me a reason to believe that they are worth supporting and worth fighting for.
